Arts Council Northern Ireland
The Arts Council of Northern Ireland awards money raised by National Lottery players as well as Government funds to to develop and deliver a wide variety of arts projects, events and initiatives across Northern Ireland.
From theatre and literature to art in the community, they work in partnership with hundreds of artists, arts organisations and venues. Art has the ability to reach across boundaries, inspiring, teaching and bringing people together. That’s why the Arts Council believe in placing “Art at the Heart” because they know that art makes a difference.
Since the introduction of National Lottery funding, the Arts Council of Northern Ireland has invested in improving the network of arts venues across the region, with the result that there is now a purpose-built arts facility within 20 miles of every citizen of Northern Ireland.
