Sport England
Sport England supports sporting good causes with funding from The National Lottery and central Government.
Sport England’s vision is that everyone in England, regardless of age, background or ability, feels able to take part in sport or physical activity. Yet too often the people with the most to gain from being active are the least able to take part.
Sport England is working to address this injustice and transform sport and physical activity so that people and places everywhere can benefit. They do this by providing expertise, insight and funding to improve the national’s long term physical and mental health.
Funding from both the National Lottery and Government is invested to help get more people across England aged five and over active. Investments range from supporting community sports facilities, to increasing the number of people in under-represented groups who get active, and so much more.
