Give something new a go...
7th June 2021
The National Lottery Open Week has just begun! Make sure you get involved in this fun-filled week of special offers and free entry at hundreds of National Lottery funded venues across the UK, that are saying #ThanksToYou to the players.
1) National Lottery players can enjoy 2 for 1 entry to Nero: The Man Behind The Myth at the British Museum in London.
Drawing on the latest research, this major exhibition questions the traditional narrative of one of Rome’s most infamous rulers, notorious for his cruelty, debauchery and madness.
Through some 200 spectacular objects, from the imperial palace in Rome to the streets of Pompeii, follow the young emperor’s rise and fall and make up your own mind about Nero. Was he a young, inexperienced ruler trying his best in a divided society, or the merciless, matricidal megalomaniac history has painted him to be?
