94 year old World War II hero, George Goodchild presents Lorfords Newsagent store manager, Lesley Bray, with a commemorative plaque on behalf of The National Lottery. Lorfords, in Central Walk, Bury St Edmunds, has been revealed as the highest National Lottery fundraising independent retailer in East Anglia, having raised £2.5m for good causes to date. George Goodchild, from Stanton and who won a bravery medal in World War II, recently received a BIG Lottery Fund Heroes Return award to visit the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy
