National Lottery Open Week 2025

National Lottery Open Week 2024 will return next year from Saturday 15th to Sunday 23rd March 2025. Further details will be announced soon.

National Lottery Open Week is a way for National Lottery funded venues to say thank you to the players for the £30 million raised for Good Causes every week, by offering free entry, discounts and special offers.

In 2024, over 500 National Lottery funded venues across the UK said thank you to The National Lottery players by offering free and low-cost days out, including the chance to:

• Delve into the past at historical houses, castles and museums

• Embrace nature in all its glory at lots of wonderful wildlife hotspots

• Relive iconic moments at famous sports venues

• Enjoy a culture fix at art galleries and theatres across the UK

What is The National Lottery Open Week?

The idea is simple: anyone who visits a participating National Lottery supported project and shows a National Lottery ticket, Instant Win Game, or scratchcard (physical or digital) during National Lottery Open Week is able to take up a special offer.

It's the support of National Lottery players who help fantastic projects and organisations to continue to make a difference to people and communities - and National Lottery Open Week is the perfect way to say #ThanksToYou.

What does a special offer look like?

From free entry into some of the UK’s most loved museums and heritage sites, to behind the scenes tours of world class sporting venues, a complimentary gift or cup of tea and cake, or setting aside tickets to a sold-out theatre performance, there are so many ways for everyone to say #ThanksToYou during National Lottery Open Week.
